The Experience
If you are new to our store, our custom hand-poured candle experience and process takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes. This time varies based upon how long it takes you to select your favorite scents. Once the candle has been poured, we hold it in store for about 90 minutes so that it can properly set.
STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE SCENTS
Grab a clipboard, stop at our Scent Wall, and let your nose (or our team) guide you. Smell as many scents as you'd like and use the provided scent card to create a list of your favorites.
STEP 2: SELECT A CANDLE VESSEL OR PRODUCT OR BOTH
Choose a vessel that suits your style and budget. Candles and products vary in size. If candles aren't your thing, we also have body care products such as lotion, hand soap, sugar scrub, bath salt and home care products such as wax tarts, aromatic spray and reed diffusers that can be scented with your custom fragrance blend as well.
STEP 3: CREATE YOUR BLEND
Take a seat at the candle bar and a Scent Designer will help guide you in selecting 2 to 3 scents to blend together. This is where the magic happens and you begin the process of creating your one-of-a-kind, uniquely scented candle. Once the candle has been poured it takes about 90 minutes to set. So we encourage you to check out some of our neighboring businesses in the area for shopping or to grab a bite to eat.
If you create a product(s) other than candles or wax tarts you will be able to leave with your product when you are done mixing and pouring your custom oils. Please note, if you want to take your candles home on the same day, we kindly ask that you arrive to pour your candles at least two hours before we close, so that we can ensure your candles are ready the same day. If not, no problem, we will hold your candle for you for two weeks.
COST
Cost varies depending on the candle vessel or product chosen. We have many vessel options that range in size from 4oz to 16 oz. The cost for an 10oz custom blended candle starts at $35. Our 8oz custom blended body care products and home care products start at $20.
